The Nordik Crying Lamb is a game call that is easy
\nto use, specially designed to imitate the sound of an
\ninjured or stressed lamb in a realistic way. This sound
\nis very effective for calling predators that have specialized
\non killing sheep and goats.
\nInstructions
\nGrasp the call with your right hand; cup your left hand
\nover the sound chamber so that it closes tightly. Take
\na deep breath and just as you are about t start blowing,
\nlet go of the sound chamber with your left hand
\nand blow into the call. You need to create a small and
\nshort overpressure in the call to make the B in the
\nBaaaaaa sound.
\nWhen you have practiced this for a while, you can try
\nto make a vibrato during your exhalation for a more
\nfaithful sound. The volume is adjusted by how hard
\nyou blow into the call as well as with your left hand in
\nfront of the sound chamber. Practice and listen how
\nhard it is possible for you to blow before the sound
\nbreaks, and adjust thereafter!
\nPlanning a stand
\nOpen fields:
\nCall intensively for 15-20 seconds, be quiet for two to
\nthree minutes and keep on calling in this way for 20-
\n30 minutes each stand.
\nSmaller fields or forested areas:
\nCall intensively for 15-20 seconds, be quiet for five to
\nsix minutes and keep on calling in this way for 15-20
